CFO , you will be responsible for the following:Serving as a strategic leader, and providing guidance to ensure key initiatives, program regulations, performance outcomes and operations are managed appropriately, in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal laws.Overseeing the management of the credit unions capital, including investments, liquidity, and asset-liability management.Participating in the credit unions long and short-term strategic planning, overseeing budget planning, preparation, and administration processes to control operating expenses and achieve credit unions strategic direction.Collaborating with the leadership team to synchronize tasks across the organization and direct prioritization by developing and implementing plans, policies, systems, processes, and staff development to accomplish the vision and improve overall effectiveness of the financial operations for TFCU.Directing the accounting functions to ensure completion of financial statements, tax returns and regulatory returns in a timely manner.Developing plans, procedures, and reporting systems to ensure proper financial controls.Directing the investment of funds for compliance with the Investment Policy, profitability, and soundness, while meeting cash flow needs.Developing sound asset/liability strategies to ensure financial stability in various rate environments; assisting in evaluating and controlling risk.Conducting regular financial analysis of organizational performance to isolate trends and problems.Evaluating operating results to ensure that organization growth and the corporate financial and administrative objectives are achieved.Communicating with the Board of Directors, the Supervisory Committee and leadership team regarding strategic recommendations, financial results and policies which effect the credit union to ensure that they are informed about matters affecting TFCU.Education/Experience/Certifications:A bachelors degree in accounting or finance (with at least 30 credit hours in accounting) and 12 years of related experience, and five years supervisory experience are required.Financial institution experience is required.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License is required.Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) License is preferred.

Keys to success:In order to be successful in the

CFO

position, you must possess these qualifications:Knowledge of tax and regulatory requirements.Knowledge of accounts payable policies.Knowledge of Asset/Liability management, cash management, expenditure and disbursement policies, fixed assets and depreciation methods, investment procedures, cost accounting, financial institution balancing, control procedures, financial reporting, and budgeting procedures.Excellent organizational skills to prioritize various projects and assignments.Ability to use and maintain basic, fundamental office equipment.Ability to use Credit Union and Accounting systems.Tinker Federal Credit Union is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to providing an environment free of harassment and discrimination.
