The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a full time
Research Assistant
for the Cardiology division. The successful candidate will work with animals and be responsible for assisting the Sr. Research Specialist and the principal investigator's research activities.
Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesOrder and receive supplies.Assist with cell culture work and preparation of solutions.Perform data collection for study(studies) and develop data reports to share with PI.Deliver mice, collect mice tissues, tissue banking and providing them to collaborating investigators.May interview and hire undergraduate assistants to work in the lab and lead basic activities such as data collection and data entry.Duties may include data cleaning measures.Additional duties as assigned.

Computer data storage.
Tissue culture.Record Keeping.Data plotting.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in related discipline.Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
