The Quality Inspector 2 plays a crucial role in the Quality Department by performing advanced mechanical inspections to support production activities. This position involves collaborating with customers to address corrective actions and resolve quality issues, actively participating in process improvement projects, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of documentation and records. As a key contributor to daily operations, the Quality Inspector 2 is instrumental in maintaining high standards of quality and operational efficiency within the company.

Education and ExperienceMinimum 10 years experience working in a quality role.Minimum 5 years experience working directly with Aerospace quality systems.Minimum 5 years experience and demonstratable skill using precision measuring equipment.Minimum 5 years experience working with advanced GD&T symbology, tolerancing and blueprint interpretation. Strong skills are a must.Core Contributing Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities to the Organization

Perform critical inspection operations for first article, in process, final, and receiving operations.Help other Quality personnel with day-to-day operations as a leader.Work directly with engineering and production personnel to ensure quality requirements are being met.Work with customers through electronic portals on corrective actions and delivery issues.Assist source inspectors when present.Perform calibration duties when needed.Assist in internal and external audits.Use problem solving methods to perform continuous improvement and corrective actions.Physical Requirements

Sitting for extended periods of time using a computer.WalkingStandingOccasionally lifting up to 25 lbs.Visual Acuity requirements, corrected or uncorrected.
