Job Description
CTL Aerospace is a full service NADCAP certified composite-manufacturing company providing services to the major aerospace and governmental organizations since 1946. CTL specializes in the manufacturing of Fiber Reinforced Polymer Structures.
We are seeking a talented Quality Control Inspector to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky).
Essential Job Functions
Meets or exceeds all criteria for Quality Control Inspector IPerform dimensional/visual inspections on components and final assemblies using monitoring and measuring equipment (M&ME) according to production scheduleMust comply with internal quality system, business policies, and regulatory requirements andsupports business goals and objectivesWork with others in a teamwork atmosphereMaintains work-station cleanliness on daily basisExperienced reading and understand blueprints, travelers/routers, and work instructionsCan utilize basic shop math skills to aid with tolerancing and obtaining measurements of productBasic knowledge of GD&T tolerancingBasic understanding of utilizing an ERP systemExperience with generating inspection reports and FAI reportsAbility to Multi-taskBasic Understanding in issuing Nonconforming ReportsCapable of working with minimal supervision to support manufacturing needsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications
HS Diploma or equivalent.Minimum 2 yrs. experience related to precision manufacturing and inspection (Aerospace Industry with emphasis on composite manufacturing a plus)Ability to interact with people on the floor, good social skills, and able to work with diverse work groupsGood analytical, writing and communication skillsMust be a US Citizen or Permanent ResidentMust be able to work in a manufacturing environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
