Job Description
CTL Aerospace is a full service NADCAP certified composite-manufacturing company providing services to the major aerospace and governmental organizations since 1946. CTL specializes in the manufacturing of Fiber Reinforced Polymer Structures.
We are seeking a talented CMM Operator to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky).
Essential Job FunctionsPerform CMM inspections on components and final assemblies and analyze features to GD&T requirementsUse CMM and other Monitoring and Measuring Equipment (M&ME) to inspect product for dimensional conformance according to production schedule. Reads and interprets Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) data.Complies with internal quality system, business policies, and regulatory requirements and supports business goals and objectivesReads and understands blueprints, travelers/routers and work instructions including GD&T data on machine printsWork with CAD modelsGenerate inspection reports and FAI reportsWork with minimal supervision to support manufacturing needsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications
HS Diploma or equivalent.Progressive experience related to precision manufacturing and inspectionAbility to interact with people on the floor, good social skills, and able to work with diverse work groupsStrong analytical, writing and communication skillsMust be a US CitizenMust be able to read, write & speak EnglishMust be able to work in a manufacturing environment and lift up to 50 lbs.Must be able to train Monday - Friday
