This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focusing on complex litigation matters.Duties and Responsibilities:Represent clients in civil and criminal litigation cases from initial case evaluation through trial.Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Conduct legal research and provide strategic recommendations based on findings.Develop and execute case strategies, including discovery, depositions, and settlement negotiations.Manage a caseload and ensure timely progression of cases through the legal system.Collaborate with clients, experts, and other attorneys to build strong case foundations.Attend court hearings and trials, presenting evidence and arguments on behalf of clients.Mentor junior attorneys and legal staff, providing guidance and support in litigation matters.Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting cases and practice areas.Participate in firm meetings and contribute to business development and marketing initiatives.Requirements:Minimum of 5+ years of experience in litigation.Licensed to practice law in Tennessee.Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree from an accredited law school.Proven track record of successful litigation outcomes.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.Education:Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active license to practice law in Tennessee.Skills:Expertise in civil and criminal litigation.Proficient in legal research and analysis.Strong negotiation and case management skills.Ability to present and argue cases effectively in court.Leadership and mentorship capabilities.Excellent interpersonal and client-relations skills.Proficiency in legal software and case management systems.
