The Lead Wired Engineer -Federal oversees all technical aspects of the wired infrastructure of the BIM program. The Lead Wired Engineer will oversee and direct modernization, operation, and maintenance of base network infrastructure to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).The Main ResponsibilitiesServes as the main point of contact for all wired infrastructure technical issues of the BIM program.Has a technical background that facilitates understanding of Government technical requirements and communication with the Government BIM PMO.Works closely with BIM PMO-specified personnel to facilitate effective planning and accomplishment of critical objectives in a timely manner.Manages all subcontractor interface requirements in conjunction with the Program manager.Notifies the Government BIM PMO and Lumen Program Manager, immediately, of any problems or issues.Approve/Signoff all engineering documents before submission to the Government.Skills/QualificationsFive (5) to eight (8) years of technical supervisory experience.Five to ten (5-10) years’ expert knowledge and experience at the consulting level designing, configuring, and troubleshooting Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) networks.What We Look For in a CandidateA scientific, technical, or engineering Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university.Network engineering technical certification equivalent to Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) for Wired.Security ClearanceAt a minimum, Program Manager must carry DoD Secret level security clearance at time of award.CompensationThe starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.Salary Range$94420 - $125890
