Outpatient Neurologist Needed (Headache interest) - Houston Methodist - Sugar La

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate General Neurologist, with an interest in headache, to join our multispecialty subspecialist neurology group in Sugar Land, TX. The group consists of 6 physicians, 1 neuropsychologist, and 1 psychiatrist, and serves the diverse patient population of Sugar Land, Texas, and the surrounding communities.Responsibilities:Provide expert clinical care for patients with neurological conditions, including the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of neurological conditions.Perform comprehensive neurological evaluations, including history-taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests, to formulate accurate diagnoses and develop evidence-based treatment plans.Provide patient education and counseling on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and care planning, involving patients and their families in decision-making processes.Participate in departmental meetings, conferences, and multidisciplinary discussions to contribute to the collective knowledge and expertise of the neurology group.Maintain accurate and complete electronic medical records (EMR) and comply with all hospital and regulatory requirements.Qualifications:Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of residency in Neurology from an accredited programBoard certification or eligibility in NeurologyValid TX medical licenseExcellent clinical skills, including history-taking, physical examination, and interpretation of diagnostic testsStrong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team membersCommitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered careAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.We offer a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and advancement in a supportive and collaborative environment.If you are a General Neurologist with a neurophysiology fellowship, and you are looking to join a dynamic and respected multispecialty neurology group, Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital could be the perfect fit for you.
