How you will contribute to LifeNet Health’s success:

The Foundation & Community Outreach Director will be responsible for execution, strategic direction, and operations of the foundation in accordance with the Board of Directors. This role will manage programs, fundraising, build relationships with stakeholders, and ensure the foundation achieves its mission and goals. This role will provide visionary leadership, support staff development, and uphold the foundation's values and reputation within the community.

What you’ll do:

Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement strategic plans in alignment with the foundation’s mission, vision, and goals. Continuously assess and adjust strategies to respond to changing needs and priorities.

Fundraising and Development:

Lead fundraising efforts by cultivating relationships with donors, partners, and sponsors. Lead and develop new fundraising campaigns, annual events, grant proposals, and sponsorship to secure financial support for the foundation.

Program Development and Management:

Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and initiatives that align with the foundation's mission. Collaborate with the Board, staff, volunteers, and partners to ensure programs are effective, impactful, and sustainable.

People Leadership and Management:

Supervise and support a team of staff members, interns, and volunteers. Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to build a strong and cohesive team capable of achieving the foundation's objectives.

Stakeholder Relations:

Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including board members, donors, volunteers, beneficiaries, government agencies, and community partners. Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates, solicit feedback, and foster engagement.

Public Relations and Marketing:

Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies to raise awareness of the foundation's work, attract support, and enhance its reputation. Utilize various channels, including social media, press releases, website content, and events, to promote the foundation's mission and achievements.

Governance, Compliance, and Financial Management:

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements governing nonprofit organizations, including tax-exempt status, reporting obligations, and governance policies. Support the board of directors in fulfilling its governance responsibilities and provide accurate and timely information for decision-making. Plan and execute the foundation's budget, finance, and resources efficiently and effectively. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, reporting requirements, and accounting best practices. Monitor expenses, revenue streams, and financial performance to optimize resource allocation.

What you’ll bring (Minimum Requirements):

Bachelor's Degree

Five (5) years of experience leading initiatives in a non-profit foundation or similar developing and executing non-profit strategic initiatives and events.

Five (5) years of experience leading and managing others

Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in non-profit administration or a related field

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills:

Ability to inspire and motivate others towards a common goal. Able to build and sustain partnerships with corporate donors and build new relationships, along with internal departments.

Knowledge of financial management practices and principles:

Ability to develop, monitor, and manage a budget that aligns with the LifeNet Health Foundation Board. Familiarity with grant funding processes, compliance requirements, and reporting standards.

Organizational and problem-solving abilities:

Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Capacity to notice and manage small details. Skill in organizing and maintaining information and files.

Compensation:

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location and the candidate’s qualifications and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is $98,339 annually (entry-level qualifications) to $131,119 annually (experienced in this role). Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate's knowledge and relevant experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus once eligibility criteria are met.
