Job DescriptionThe Executive Director (ED) provides strategic leadership and direction for the Didlake Foundation, ensuring alignment with its mission, vision, and values. The ED

is responsible for

the overall management of the Foundation, including fund development, program oversight, community engagement,

financial management , and leadership to staff and volunteers .Leadership and Strategy Development:Collaborate with the Board of Directors to develop and implement the Foundation's strategic plan and long-term goals.Provide visionary leadership to inspire and engage the Board, volunteers, and other stakeholders.Fund Development and Donor Relations:Lead efforts to cultivate and steward relationships with donors, funders, corporate partners, and community stakeholders.As the primary fundraiser for the Foundation, develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to diversify revenue streams and ensure financial sustainability.Successfully raise funds to support strategic initiatives .

Solicits donors for contributions .Grant Management:Seek out and identify

appropriate grants .Write and

submit

grant proposals to further the mission .Program Management:Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of Foundation programs and initiatives.Responsible for the execution of

day-to-day

operations and

ensuring

that all operations of the foundation are carried out

in accordance with

applicable laws governing private foundations .Ensure programs are evidence-based, culturally competent, and responsive to community needs.Community Engagement:Serve as the Foundation's primary spokesperson and ambassador.Foster positive relationships with community leaders, organizations, policymakers, and stakeholdersRepresent the Foundation at public events, conferences, and meetings.Staff/Volunteer Leadership and Development:Provide effective leadership and management to volunteers and any future staffPromote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.Support professional development and growth opportunities.Financial Management and Accountability:Develop and manage the Foundation's annual budget.Ensure transparent financial reporting, accountability, and integrity in all financial transactions and operations.Manage donations and awarded grants .Board Relations:Work closely with the Board of Directors to provide regular updates, reports, and recommendations .Support Board development efforts, including recruitment, orientation, training, and ongoing engagement.Marketing Program:Responsible for the design, implementation ,

and marketing of all fund development .Didlake, Inc. is a non-profit rehabilitation services organization. Education

and Experience :Bachelor’s degree and

years of senior-level management experience in the fundraising nonprofit sector or

years of senior-level management experience in the nonprofit fundraising sector .Advanced degree in nonprofit management, public administration, social work, or related field preferred.CFRE highly preferredSkills and Abilities:Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.Demonstrated success in fundraising, donor relations, grant writing, and

financial management .Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of disability rights, advocacy, and inclusive community practices.Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.Passionate
