This position requires a dedicated professional to handle complex family law cases with proficiency and expertise. The successful candidate will demonstrate solid legal acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage a substantial caseload independently.Duties:Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local, state, and federal statutes and applicable laws.Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, notices, discovery requests, and responses.Conduct thorough legal research and prepare well-founded motions, pleadings, and briefs.Represent clients by arguing motions in court during legal proceedings.Strategize, prepare for and participate in trial proceedings, mediation, and arbitration.Independently manage a heavy caseload, ensuring timely and efficient case progression.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.Requirements:Must be currently licensed to practice law in the State of California.Minimum of 5 years of experience as a lawyer or paralegal in the family law or estate planning practice areas.Proven track record in representing clients in trials, mediation, and arbitration.Active member in good standing with local and State Bar Associations.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the California State Bar.Skills:Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to build and maintain client relationships.Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently while handling a demanding caseload.
