Our mission is to provide accurate, timely, and relevant financial information while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the company's strategic goals. The department manages a broad range of functions, including financial reporting, treasury, forecasting, month-end close activities, financial systems, fixed assets, consolidation and campus-specific financial oversight. By maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial data, we enable informed decision-making and uphold ethical standards across all financial activities. We prioritize continuous improvement in processes and systems to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Our collaborative approach ensures we work closely with other departments, providing financial insights and support to drive the company's strategic objectives.Position OverviewVantage's footprint in North America is expanding, and to support it, its accounting team is growing to better support its portfolio of data centers. As such, Vantage is looking for a resourceful, agile and diligent Cash Accountant responsible for tracking, recording and reconciling cash activities for our bank accounts in North America.Due to the growing complexity of our treasury operations and banking structure, the cash accountant will play a critical role in the cash management and the monthly close processes, notably by ensuring cash balances are accurate and up-to-date. They will have opportunities to work cross-functionally with the accounting operations, treasury and the FP&A teams, and also will assist in financial reporting activities, including preparation of monthly and quarterly reports.This position will be based on-site at our office in Denver, CO, in alignment with our flexible work policy. (3 days on site required, 2 days flexible).DutiesReview bank statements and record cash transactions for the organization's multiple bank accounts, including payments, receipts, internal transfers, bank fees and debt waterfalls transactions.Supervise cash transactions to ensure that bank account balances are reported accurately and investigate any unusual items.Collaborate with accounts payable and accounts receivable teams to solve incomplete, pending and irregular 3rd party transactions.Track and report on cash activities at our trustee accounts.Maintain registers of our trade instruments such as letters of credit.Receive, identify, and resolve a variety of internal and external inquiries concerning account statuses and transactions.Set up and maintain filing systems, both electronically and hard copy, as stipulated by local regulations.Prepare monthly internal financial reporting information related to cash.Assist in implementing and documenting process improvements.Assist in coordination with external auditors and internal auditors.Additional duties as assigned by Management.Job RequirementsBachelor of Science degree in Accounting or equivalent experience required.2-5 years of experience in a similar or relevant role.Experience or working knowledge of concepts around waterfall calculations and capital calls.Good knowledge of internal control systems related to cash.Real estate industry experience is preferred, but not required.Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.Comfort in working in a fast-paced, changing environment and ability to adapt to changes in responsibilities.Ability to collaborate with individuals across the organization and
