and is open for 2nd shift hours, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Operations Specialist for Turbine Systems Gas Machining supports production from a technical standpoint andunderstands the product being produced in the area . It is the first line of defense for production related issues. The position solves minor to moderate manufacturing problems and works with members to implement process and product improvements.What You Will Be DoingImplements lean tools in a team setting. Drives process improvements. Organizes cell/area in 5SResolves problems on the manufacturing floor and assists in Root Cause AnalysisRecommends and implements process improvements for new product introductions and/or existing manufacturing processesIdentifies mistakes on various manufacturing documents and provides redlines to engineeringWrites and releases new work instructions and other manufacturing documentation. Revises existing work instructions and other manufacturing documentationEvaluates new tooling for application to current designsRecommends and implements revisions of methods of operation or material handling, alterations in equipment layout or other changes to increase production or improve standardsDispositions standard nonconformance's (i.e. QNs/NCRs/ATRs)Machining Specific Functions:Solid implementation of manufacturing processes and/or solid design and implementation of Computer Numeric Controls (CNC) programming and 2. Solid interpretation of specifications and participation in hardware dispositionWhat We Are Looking ForHS Diploma or GED requiredMinimum 1 years' experience in a manufacturing/machining environmentSolid knowledge of applicable machining processes including Computer Numeric Controls (CNC) programmingSolid knowledge of cutting tools and machine capabilitySolid interpretation of specifications and participation in hardware dispositionMaintains rework processes for manufacturingApplication window is anticipated to close 30 days from original posting date.This information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position.
