Role Summary: The Senior Manager, Global Security is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive security measures to safeguard the organization's personnel, assets, and operations. This role involves assessing risks, designing security protocols, coordinating security procedures, and managing operational relationships to ensure a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Advise Executive Leadership Team and other travelling parties in the business on security in locations to be visited.

• Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and threats to the organization.

• Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and procedures to mitigate identified risks and enhance overall security posture.

• Oversee the installation and maintenance of physical security systems, including access control systems, surveillance cameras, alarms, andperimeter security.

• With assistance from HSE, establish protocols for access control for employees, contractors, and visitors.

• Work with the HSE team to continuously improve crisis management plans and protocols to respond effectively to emergencies such asnatural disasters, accidents, or security incidents.

• Determine needs and assist with security training programs to educate employees on security best practices, emergency procedures, andthreat awareness.

• Conduct or oversee investigations into security incidents, breaches, or violations, and recommend corrective actions as necessary.

• Manage relationships with security vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure compliance with security standards and contractualobligations.

• Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to corporate security, and ensure compliance across all securityoperations.

• Develop and manage the security department budget, including forecasting expenses, allocating resources, and optimizing cost-effectivesolutions.Qualifications:

Preferred Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP,CISSP) preferred.

• Minimum of ten years of experience in federal law enforcement with background international or transnational issues, with experience inthe intelligence or international political analysis spheres preferred.

• Strong understanding of security principles, practices, technologies, and methodologies.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels ofthe organization.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks, analyze data, and make informed decisions to enhance security measures.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Demonstrated ability to remain calm and composed during stressful situations.

Working Conditions:This position may require occasional evening, weekend, or on-call availability to respond to security incidents or emergencies. Travel may be required to visit different company locations or attend conferences, training sessions, or meetings.
