UCI Health serves a region of nearly 4 million people in Orange County, western Riverside County and southeast Los Angeles County.Your Role on the TeamPosition Summary:Under supervision of the Assistant Director or management designee for the Care Management team, the incumbent is responsible for coordinating transfers from the community into UCI Medical Center. These activities include coordination of M.D. to M.D. discussion; verification of benefits and authorization specific to the patient transfer. Uses several computer programs including Access, Microsoft Word, TDS, Invision to verify eligibility, obtain benefit information.
