www.ucihealth.org.Your Role on the TeamPosition Summary:Functions as specialist, providing purchasing and inventory management support to a specific area of hospital inventory supply/equipment. Duties include supply chain operations and logistics functions to include receiving, distribution, picking, put-away, product delivery and par/point of use replenishment and stocking as well as input of patient charges as directed. This position also is responsible for working with departmental end users/customers, ensuring an effective and streamlined supply chain experience.What It Takes to be SuccessfulRequired Qualifications:Recently demonstrated inventory management experience in a retail environment RequiredPrevious cashiering or cash handling experience RequiredMust possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties RequiredMust demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job RequiredMust be available for occasional travel as needed RequiredExperience in creative store merchandising RequiredDemonstrated retail experience with the ability to effectively provide information about products and services RequiredAbility to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload RequiredAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System RequiredPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of UC policies and proceduresConditions of Employment:The University of California, Irvine (UCI) seeks to provide a safe and healthy environment for the entire UCI community.
