Key Responsibilities

Fuss & O'Neill is a leading engineering and consulting firm dedicated to delivering innovative transportation solutions. We are seeking a Senior Roadway Project Manager to join our team and lead multi-disciplinary transportation engineering projects.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership and Project Management:
  • Lead a team of engineers to deliver multi-disciplinary transportation engineering projects.
  • Support the production of design plans, calculations, specifications, and permitting documents.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the client, acting as the main point of contact for the design team, contractor, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC).

Construction Support:
  • Oversee construction support services, including the review of submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs).

Business Development:
  • Assist with business development activities and proposal writing.
  • Contribute to the scheduling and management of project financials.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in roadway design and project management.
  • Knowledge of policies, procedures, and design standards of state and local transportation agencies (MassDOT required).
  • Ability to manage a multidisciplinary team while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, InRoads/OpenRoads Designer).
