San Francisco 49ers: Senior Director, Content

This is a Full Time position in the field of Live Broadcast / Sports / TV News / Technical Operations, located in San Francisco, CA.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement the content strategy for the San Francisco 49ers and Levi’s Stadium, including messaging/campaign plans, editorial calendars, channel mix, cadence, tone, and KPIs.
- Based on the content strategy, develop and implement tactics to grow reach, deepen engagement, and drive revenue.
- Oversee all content production teams, including video, social, photo, podcast, and written content.
- Ensure all production teams are producing content efficiently, in alignment with channel management teams, and in service of the broader content strategy.
- Oversee all channel management teams, including social, web, mobile app, podcasts, SMS, push notification, and email.
- Ensure all channel management teams are working to optimize individual channels and cross-channel.
- Serve as the primary contact for internal (e.g. ticketing, servicing, integrated marketing, corporate comms, football comms, stadium operations) and external (e.g. broadcast media partners, event promoters) parties.
- Drive initiatives to support ticket sales and corporate partner activation.
- Develop new corporate partner assets and regularly update ratecards for existing assets.
- Provide editorial assistance and quality assurance for all content.
- Serve as a resource to support content production or channel management, including shooting, editing, and posting content, as needed.
- Manage resource allocation and coverage plans, including travel assignments and logistics.
- Provide scheduled and ad hoc content KPI reports, insights, and best practices.
- Manage and optimize the content budget, including full-time and part-time/freelance staff, production, paid media, equipment, software, licensing, and travel.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- At least 10+ years’ relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with Great Plains, Adobe Pro, and FloQast.
- Experience with Sprout Social or other similar social publishing, listening, and analytics platforms.

Travel:
10-15% of intra and interstate travel requiring overnight stay is expected for this position.
Compensation:
$175k - $190k
