Overview
Ice Resurfacer Drivers are responsible for maintaining ice quality to NHL standards through scheduled resurfacing and other assigned ice maintenance including but not limited to installation and deconstruction of the hockey ice surface.
This role will pay $19.00/hour (after 90-day probationary period)

ResponsibilitiesArrives for work on time for each scheduled shift, in uniform and ready to workMust be able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidaysMust be able to take both verbal and written directionAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basisAbility to stand on feet for up to 8 hours at a time, kneel, stoop, climb stair, and reach/lift above head in conjunction with ice maintenance tasksResponsible for ice resurfacing, ice edging and overall ice qualityPerform various general maintenance functions for equipment, including blade changes, exercising adequate judgment to ensure completion of tasks as assignedAssist in maintaining, cleaning and safety checking all machines, and areas surrounding as neededMonitor all refrigeration equipment, keep necessary records and logbooks on equipment, and inform the Ice Operations Manager if systems or equipment is malfunctioningAssist in cleaning up ice before and after events and setup game day ice crew areaWorks safely, quickly and efficiently to meet all deadlinesMaintains a positive, outgoing demeanorAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAll other tasks assigned by SupervisorQualifications
Experience working in an ice rink setting preferredComfortable in front of large crowdsComfortable operating Resurfacer with intermission riderValid Driver's License2 years' experience operating ice resurfacing equipment preferredPrevious experience with ice edger and forklift equipment preferred
