LSG, an impact agency specializing in brand building, corporate reputation management, and public affairs, is seeking a senior vice president or vice president to join our team in Washington, D.C. The senior vice president or vice president will serve as a senior communications strategist, integrated communications campaign lead, and client relationship manager for new and existing LSG clients.Ideal candidates will be an experienced communications professional and a strong leader with the ability to inspire and develop a growing and dynamic team. Prior agency experience is a plus.The senior vice president or vice president position is full-time with benefits and presents unique advancement opportunities for those seeking to excel and grow in a fast-paced environment. Portfolio will include a range of projects of various scopes and sizes across multiple industries related to brand building, corporate reputation management, and public affairs initiatives.LSG’s collaborative work environment thrives on in-person interaction. This position is expected to be in the office Monday through Thursday.ResponsibilitiesLead the strategy and execution of integrated public affairs and corporate communications campaigns, providing the highest level of client service and excellence in account leadership.Achieve client communications, brand, awareness, and engagement goals through shaping of account strategy, program development, and execution.Oversee client teams; ensure proper staffing; provide guidance and coaching; and drive excellent work product and client deliverables.Maintain deep, trusted relationships with senior client leaders, including C-suite officers in communications and public affairs roles.Proactively identify and pursue opportunities for revenue growth within the client portfolio, including cross-selling LSG services.Drive and support the new business development process: develop campaign ideas, lead and organize proposal process from start to finish, and participate in pitches.Leverage professional and personal networks to advance perceptions of LSG and our service offerings and make efforts to introduce LSG to new prospective clients.Create an inclusive environment, leading and managing direct reports, identifying professional growth opportunities, and contributing to a culture that inspires and motivates.Contribute to internal initiatives and workstreams that grow and improve the firm, including marketing, thought leadership, employee resource groups, and more.Maintain up-to-date knowledge and expertise of relevant business narratives, consumer trends and policy issues in Congress, the White House, state legislatures, regulatory agencies, etc.QualificationsSenior Vice President candidates should have 12-15 years of strategic communications and/or public affairs experience with a proven track record in reputation management, brand and product communications, media relations, and/or crisis communications and issuesmanagement.Vice President candidates should have 8-12 years of strategic communications and/or public affairs experience with a proven track record in reputation management, brand and product communications, media relations, and/or crisis communications and issuesmanagement.Candidates should be inspirational, people-focused leaders who will empower and energize teams in a fast-paced, demanding environment.Entrepreneurial mindset with significant experience in new business development.Intellectually curious and a brave & bold driver of innovation across the business.Highly creative and exceptionally savvy in translating strategic insights into breakthrough creative work.Deep experience developing, leading and executing integrated communications strategies to achieve organizational goals.Experience providing counsel to senior executives in a client or corporate communications setting.Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.How to ApplyQualified candidates should send cover letter and resume to jobs@locuststreet.com .
