The Financial Analyst of FP&A is responsible for delivering high-quality and accurate financial reporting and analysis for assigned teams globally. In this role, you will be expected to seek innovative solutions while driving continuous improvements in new and existing reporting, tools, and financial processes. The ideal candidate is a critical, collaborative, and big-picture thinker with an operational mindset, initiative, and a proven track record of translating data into strategic insights.
What you’ll do as the Financial Analyst:
Financial Planning:
Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for ARR, revenue, and expenses across various functions.
Reporting and Variance Analysis:
Publish a monthly reporting package highlighting financial performance across the organization. Analyze actual vs. budgeted results, identifying key trends and areas of risk and opportunity. Assist senior management in executing their strategic goals within the scope of budgeted spend.
Support Monthly/Quarterly Close Process:
Assist with operating expense management, general ledger reviews, accruals, and other related processes during the monthly and quarterly close.
Automation and Development of Reporting:
Lead the automation of reporting processes using DOMO, and develop new reports focused on analyzing ARR by product, enhancing visibility into product performance and financial health.
What you’ll bring as the Financial Analyst:
2+ years of FP&A experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Business partner experience
– adept at building rapport, trust, and credibility with stakeholders, including executive leadership
Technical proficiency
– strong Excel skills and experience with BI visualization tools like DOMO; experience with Adaptive Planning, Netsuite, and Salesforce is a plus
Project management experience
– proven ability to manage projects from start to finish
Ownership
– a self-starter who takes initiative, follows through with forethought, and embraces full accountability and over-communication
Collaboration
– works well across diverse and global teams
