Candidates should have a strong academic background and substantial experience in estate planning, federal estate and gift tax, and litigation related to trusts and estates.Duties and Responsibilities:Represent clients in trust and estate litigation, including disputes related to trusts, estates, and probate matters.Provide legal counsel on estate planning strategies, federal estate and gift tax issues, and related tax implications.Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Advise clients on complex probate and trust law issues, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Collaborate with clients, legal teams, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective legal strategies.Prepare for and participate in court proceedings, including oral advocacy and argumentation.Manage case files and oversee litigation processes from inception through resolution.Stay updated on changes in probate, trust law, and tax regulations to provide informed legal advice.Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients.Requirements:3-5 years of experience in trust and estate litigation, estate planning, and federal estate and gift tax.JD from an ABA-accredited law school with a strong academic record.Active membership in the State Bar where the firm is located, or eligibility to obtain membership.Significant knowledge of probate and trust law.Experience handling complex litigation matters related to trusts and estates.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in the State Bar of Colorado or eligibility to obtain membership.Skills:Strong oral advocacy and presentation skills.Excellent legal research and writing capabilities.Proficiency in estate planning and tax law.In-depth knowledge of probate and trust law.Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.High level of professionalism and commitment to client service.Strong organizational and time management skills.
