Amazon is re-inventing the way customers complete their grocery missions and our team is seeking an experienced and innovative Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to build frameworks and tools to support internal stakeholders such as Quality Assurance Team, Software Development teams, and Business teams.As a member of this team, your mission will be to design, develop, document and support scalable, distributed frameworks and real time systems. Using Java, object oriented design patterns, distributed databases, AWS technologies, you will build and deliver software systems that support complex and rapidly evolving business requirements.Key job responsibilitiesWe’re truly an Agile shop: we work closely with our stakeholders to deliver features with high frequency, can pivot on a dime when needed, and are committed to code and system quality in order to ensure a good customer experience. We are not tied to one technology – instead, we use what is best suited for the purpose. Our main language of choice is Java but we work in Perl, JavaScript and anything else that is needed. We also use various web stacks and open source technologies. We are looking for talented engineers who enjoy working on creative solutions, like building highly visible tools and frameworks, and who thrive in a fast-paced fun environment. Finally, Amazon systems are part of one of the world’s largest production systems. You have to love building and inventing on behalf of customers.
