The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in commercial real estate transactions and will be given significant transactional responsibilities. The role involves working with local entrepreneurial clients as well as national institutional clients on a variety of matters across the country. The candidate will work closely with the firm’s Co-Global Chair of Real Estate, receiving mentorship on both legal and business aspects of a national real estate practice.Duties and Responsibilities:Handle complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, debt and equity financings, leasing, and development projects.Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on a range of real estate matters, including contract negotiations and transactional structuring.Collaborate with shareholders and senior attorneys on client development and case strategy.Manage significant responsibilities and client contacts, with a focus on delivering high-quality legal services.Draft and review legal documents, including purchase agreements, loan documents, and lease agreements.Conduct due diligence and coordinate with clients, experts, and other stakeholders.Participate in business development activities and contribute to the growth of the real estate practice.Stay updated on industry trends, legal developments, and best practices in real estate law.Exhibit a high level of interpersonal skills, energy, and attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission to the Florida Bar.4+ years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, debt and equity financings, leasing, and development.Prior experience at a regional or national law firm is preferred.Strong academic credentials and excellent writing skills.Demonstrated ability to manage significant responsibilities and handle a challenging workload.Strong interpersonal skills, high energy level, and a positive attitude.Proven willingness to accept substantial responsibility and work closely with clients and senior attorneys.
