As the Medical Director, you will oversee and enhance the quality of primary care services through collaboration while promoting a culture of compassionate, patient-centered care.Key Responsibilities:Clinical Leadership:
Provide clinical leadership and oversight to a team of dedicated primary care providers, including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and pharmacists.Quality Improvement:
Collaboratively lead initiatives to improve clinical quality, patient safety, and outcomes through evidence-based practices.Clinical Guidelines:
Develop and implement clinical guidelines, protocols, and policies to ensure high-quality care delivery.Provider Collaboration:
Foster a collaborative environment among healthcare providers, encouraging teamwork and professional growth.Patient Care:
Maintain a limited clinical practice (10%) to stay connected with patient care needs.Community Engagement:
Engage with the local community to understand healthcare needs and advocate for underserved populations.Education and Training:
Provide guidance and mentorship to medical staff to promote continuous learning and professional development.QUALIFICATIONSTraining & Experience:Graduation from an approved school of medicine with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.Possession of a State of Oregon medical license at the time of appointment.Five years of responsible experience in medical care, including three years in a supervisory or leadership role.Special Requirements:State of Oregon Medical License including dispensing privilegesDEA CertificateCurrent BLS/CPRCV or ResumeThis position is subject to a full criminal background check.
