DescriptionThe Yacht Broker is a specialized and client-focused role within our organization, responsible for facilitating the sale and purchase of luxury yachts and boats for discerning clients. This position plays a pivotal role in connecting buyers and sellers while providing expert guidance throughout the yacht acquisition process.Responsibilities:Client Consultation: Consult with clients to understand their yacht preferences, budget, and requirements.Market Research: Stay informed about the yacht market, including available listings, market trends, and pricing.Listing Management: Create and manage listings for yachts available for sale, ensuring accurate and compelling descriptions and photos.Buyer Search: Identify and engage potential buyers through various channels, including industry connections and online platforms.Showings and Inspections: Coordinate yacht showings, sea trials, and inspections for prospective buyers.Negotiation: Facilitate negotiations between buyers and sellers, striving to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.Transaction Management: Oversee the purchase process, including contracts, inspections, surveys, and necessary documentation.Client Education: Educate clients on yacht ownership, maintenance, and other relevant information.Networking: Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals, including yacht manufacturers, marinas, and service providers.Marketing: Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote yachts for sale, including online and offline marketing efforts.Legal Compliance: Ensure all transactions comply with applicable laws and regulations.Client Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, offering support and guidance throughout the buying and selling process.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).Proven experience as a yacht broker or a background in yacht sales.In-depth knowledge of yacht types, brands, and market trends.Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering a high level of service.Effective organizational and time management skills.Networking and relationship-building skills within the marine industry.Familiarity with legal and contractual aspects of yacht transactions.Proficiency in marketing and advertising techniques.Relevant industry certifications or licenses (if required).Benefits:Health, dental, vision, and life insuranceEmployee discountPaid time off401k planPosition Type:This is a commission-based position with a flexible schedule, allowing for work both on-site and remotely to meet client needs.
