Position SummaryThe Lockbox Remittance Specialist handles the servicing of all commercial lockbox services, including any operational functions that may pertain to the service. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely processing and maintenance of customers' lockbox deposits.Duties & ResponsibilitiesReceive and process all lockbox deposits from various commercial customers.Sort, open and process batches of work as required for this function.Process any corrections.Receive and answer customers' inquiries in a timely manner regarding customers' lockbox and research any questions that may arise from the lockbox function.Bill each customer monthly appropriately according to the services provided.Maintain confidentiality of customer account information; follow established policies and procedures in responding to inquiries and requests.Assist with other commercial operational functions as needed.Education & ExperienceKnowledge of:Strong oral and written communication skills.Regulations, policies, and procedures.Strong attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.Ability to:Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.Understand regulations, policies, and procedures.Exhibit strong attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.Education and Training:Requires High School diploma or equivalent.1 year previous retail banking or lockbox experience preferred.Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.Busey values a diverse and inclusive workplace and strives to recruit, develop, and retain individuals with exceptional talent.
