The DSD will develop and manage SSVA’s budgets for both the End User Support and Professional Services departments for all locations. All personnel within these groups will report up to this position.The DSD will take an active role in monitoring SSVA’s client satisfaction and will work with all members of the SSVA team to continually improve SSVA’s service to its clients. As a full member of SSVA’s Leadership Team, the DSD will build, monitor, measure, and improve the Managed and Hosted Services offerings and processes. Further, the DSD will oversee our Security offerings and operations. The DSD will work with all teams to coordinate the logistical, administrative, and contractual requirements of new products and services developed by his team. The DSD will also assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with SSVA’s strategic business and technology partners.This position requires collaboration and goal alignment with the management team as well as team members within all SSVA business units and departments.This position is based in Strategic Solutions’ Henrico, VA location with regular travel to other locations.RequirementsEducation: A four-year degree, preferably in computer related fields or equivalent experience. Industry certifications are required.Experience: Significant industry experience and proven success in a direct management role with responsibility for an infrastructure budget and personnel. Working knowledge of industry standards.Hearing: Full hearing capability including the dissemination of tones.An ability to lift up to 40 lbs. An ability to stand and/or sit for up to 14 hours/day.An ability to work in a professional office environment.Keen attention to detail and follow-up skills.Must have the ability to think logically.Be willing to mentor other team members.Must possess a valid driver’s license and a vehicle for transportation to and from SSVA offices and client locations as required.
