Sr. Financial Analyst

is primarily responsible for the coordination of the external financial statement audit serving as a resource to provide and review audit supporting documents and liaise with our external auditors. In addition to coordinating the external audit the position will assist with researching technical accounting matters and facilitating internal control reviews. This position reports to the Manager of Technical Accounting & Valuations. The role offers a

hybrid work schedule working remote on Mondays and Fridays .Responsibilities:Coordinate audit activities for the IFRS audit between external auditors and Compass departmentsInteract with external auditors to resolve audit questions and issues that ariseAssist with the annual audit process for the Benefit Plans, including preparation of stand-alone financial statementsPrepare, gather, and analyze external and internal audit supporting documentsImprove current project processes to increase the accuracy, efficiency or effectiveness of daily activities and to ensure they achieve project objectives.Continuously interact and develop strong relationships with external auditors as well as internal Compass associates to promote open and timely communication.Support other activities completed by the Audit Services team, including audit closing presentations, management reports, etc.Research and document technical accounting questionsFacilitate internal control reviewsPerform special projects as assignedRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in AccountingCPA or in pursuance of the CPA license2-3+ years Public Accounting audit experienceAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projectsStrong organization skillsDetail oriented with strong analytical skills, with strong risk awareness and thorough understanding of processes and controlsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work with others at various levels across multiple functionsAbility to work independently and possess strong problem solving skillsPreferred Qualifications:International clients experience a plusSAP & Essbase experience a plusProficiency in Excel and AccessSolid knowledge of IFRS and USGAAPEffective team playerSOX/Internal Controls experienceApply to Compass Group today!Click here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
