Senior Financial Analyst - Technical Accounting

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with a passion for audits and financial analysis? We are seeking a dynamic individual to take on the role of Senior Accounting Analyst, where you'll play a crucial part in managing and coordinating IFRS audits and ensuring the integrity of financial processes across our organization.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate audit activities for IFRS audits between external auditors and various internal departments.Interact with external auditors to resolve audit-related questions and issues that arise.Assist with the annual audit process for the Benefit Plans, including preparation of stand-alone financial statements.Prepare, gather, and analyze supporting documents for both external and internal audits.Enhance current project processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, or effectiveness in daily activities and ensure project objectives are met.Build and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and internal team members to promote open and timely communication.Support other activities undertaken by the Audit Services team, including audit closing presentations, management reports, and more.Research and document technical accounting issues.Facilitate internal control reviews.Undertake special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accountingCPA or in pursuit of the CPA license2-3 years of public accounting audit experienceAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projectsStrong organizational skillsDetail-oriented with strong analytical skills, risk awareness, and a thorough understanding of processes and controlsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with colleagues at various levels across multiple functionsAbility to work independently and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
