Represent injured workers in workers' compensation cases.Conduct thorough case evaluations and develop strategies for case management.Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Participate in depositions, mediations, and hearings.Negotiate settlements with opposing parties and insurance companies.Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding their rights and obligations.Maintain detailed case files and documentation.Collaborate with medical professionals to gather and present evidence.Stay updated on changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations.Attend networking events and build professional relationships to attract new clients.Requirements
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in workers' compensation law preferred.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent client service and communication skills.Exceptional oral and written communication skills.Bilingual English and Spanish, a plus.Must be a member in good standing with the Florida Bar.Florida Bar membership is required.Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a fully accredited law school.Skills
