Innovation.Job Description:SummaryThe Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at DCC invites applications for part-time faculty in Mathematics. The department is searching for instructors for the Fall 2024 semester to teach the following courses:MAT 118 - Elementary Statistics (3 lecture contact hours/week)MAT 184 - College Algebra & Trigonometry (3 lecture contact hours/week)MAT 185 - Precalculus (4 lecture contact hours/week)MAT 117 - Geometry for Elementary School Teachers II (3 lecture contact hours/week)MAT 132 - Technical Mathematics II (3 lecture contact hours/week)Courses are in-person at the main campus in Poughkeepsie and at DCC @ Fishkill. Courses are offered primarily during the day, with some courses offered during the evening. Part-time faculty teach assigned class material in accordance with learning objectives developed by the department.Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:Master's degree in Mathematics or Statistics or related field.
