Cyber Security Analyst
to join our team and help to drive the company's cyber security strategy in all aspects. This role will be pivotal to help establish a company-wide security philosophy at both the technical and business levels. The Analyst will work closely with key stakeholders in determining the acceptable levels of risk for their organization, and then recommend/implement necessary plans to mitigate these risks.What You'll Do:This role will support the successful execution of the cyber security strategy for Amer Sports in America, and be the main point of contact for cyber security topics in America. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Gain a thorough understanding of Amer Sports security policies, standards and controls. Consult the business, technical owners and other subject matter experts on the application thereofCreate awareness, optimize the communication based on the audience and be able to demonstrate adverse security practices in real life situations and show their effectSupport the business/technical owners to deliver the security controls in time and qualityConduct design reviews and risk assessments (internal and external) as mandated by the global cyber security teamBuild a trustworthy community of security champions in the organization and keep them engaged on recent IT security developmentsJoin the global cyber security team to constantly develop and improve the standards and controlsDaily operational tasks include supporting the North American Cyber Security program, such as triaging security incidents and investigation, threat hunting, and supporting security services (e.g. intrusion detection monitoring, network vulnerability scanning, event logging, etc.).Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats and security trends
What We're Looking For :This role requires a bachelors degree in information technology, cyber security, computer science or closely related field. Work experience and/or technical certification(s) may be considered in lieu of education. We are seeking a candidate with 2-3 years of professional IT experience within IS Security which includes: demonstrated experience in assessing, monitoring and maintaining, and evaluating information security policies and systems, including hardware, firmware and software. A strong understanding of network security, firewalls, VPNs, SIEM systems, and other security technologies is also necessary. Other qualifications include:
Demonstrated knowledge in one or more of the following domains including but not limited to: data security, IT systems and operations, network security/firewall management, systems and applications security or vulnerability management, complianceAbility to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical audiences orally and in writingDemonstrated successful participation in hacking events and sound knowledge of hacking practicesExcellent critical thinking, problem-solving skills and forward-thinkingSecurity/Technical certifications: Network+, Security+, Microsoft, LPIC-1/2/3, CCNA, etc. highly desiredWhat Well ProvideThis role is based at Wilson Sporting Goods Co. global headquarters.
