Job Description:
Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Development and Alumni Relations, this position is the primary development officer for the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science ( ECS ). The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Assistant Dean, faculty and other development staff to perform the primary tasks required to support the activities of major gift solicitations and a secondary role supporting alumni relations activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with five or more years of fundraising experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and at least five to seven years of development expertise including experience with major gift solicitations and relationship management. Demonstrated experience with managing high-level relationships is required. Candidates must also possess outstanding speaking, writing, and time-management skills. The position requires occasional evening/weekend hours, as well as some travel. Salary will be commensurate with experience, education, and abilities.
