We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic IT team at our Charlotte, NC office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS cloud-native tools and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure to ensure high performance, scalability, and security.Key Responsibilities:AWS Cloud Architecture:
Design and implement scalable, secure, and robust cloud architectures using AWS cloud-native tools.Cloud Management:
Manage and optimize AWS resources, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and other AWS services.Automation and Scripting:
Develop automation scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CLI.Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
Implement monitoring solutions to ensure system reliability and performance. Troubleshoot issues as they arise.Security:
Ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to best security practices and compliance requirements.Collaboration:
Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.Qualifications:Experience:
Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.Skills:
In-depth knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture best practices.Proficiency with automation tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CLI.Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.).Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or similar.Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
Certifications:
AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or AWS Certified Developer are highly desirable.Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
