Our client, a leading transportation company, is seeking a motivated Junior AWS Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment while contributing to innovative projects.Key Responsibilities:AWS Infrastructure Management:
Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and other AWS services.Deployment & Automation:
Support the deployment and automation of cloud-based solutions using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
Monitor cloud resources and applications, identifying and resolving performance issues and incidents.Security & Compliance:
Assist in implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate documentation of systems, processes, and configurations. Prepare reports on system performance and improvements.Collaboration:
Work closely with senior engineers, developers, and other IT staff to support project goals and resolve technical challenges.Required Skills & Qualifications:Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of AWS services and cloud computing principles. Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems.Programming Knowledge:
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.Communication:
Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Certifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner is a plus but not required.Desirable Skills:Experience:
Previous internship or project experience with cloud environments or AWS is advantageous.Tools:
