The AWS CoE team is in charge of building and maintaining the AWS Cloud Platform that would suit the needs of our business. We will make reusable IaC, Gitlab CI/CD pipelines, support our operations and provide guidance to our partners to ensure our platform is the simplest, most reliable, and best performing way to drive development. As an AWS Senior Engineer for the AWS Center of Excellence team, your main responsibility is to support the AWS infrastructure and our business partners. You will have the chance to influence the culture, facilitate technical delivery, and work with your team and end users to assist them in using this platform.Responsibilities:Setting up AWS infrastructureWriting IaC code to install custom applications and COTS tools in AWSCreating the pipelines to install and rehydrate in AWSTaking software as a black box and deploying and installing in AWSOur team culture is characterized by ambition, openness, teamwork, and informality. We believe that mutual support and continuous learning are the best way forward.This person will be based out of Princeton, NJ and will be onsite 60% of the time.Requirements:Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering or similar5-7 years of experience in AWS as an Engineer3-5 years of experience in infrastructure-as-code principles and experience with tools like Terraform and Ansible3-4 years of working knowledge of DevOps and delivery tools like GitlabSolid understanding of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)5-7 years of AWS WAF concepts and principles with hands-on experiencePractical understanding of infrastructure technologies - compute, network, storage2-3 years of experience with scripting (e.g., Bash, Python)Proven experience with AWS cloud Platforms, PaaS, SaaS experience5-7 years of hands-on experience of VPC, AWS Transit VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect methodologies5-7 years of hands-on experience with IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing and firewallingWell versed in leveraging some or more AWS Services: Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Kinesis, SageMaker, Lambda, Glue, Aurora, Dynamo DB, API Gateway, SQS, CloudFormationDemonstrate knowledge in AWS Cloud and Internet technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, Web architecture and designWell versed with Cloud design patterns3-5 years of experience in developing Terraform templates/modulesDesigning and developing automation tools and infrastructure to run service-oriented stacks on an internal data center, AWS3-5 years of experience in large-scale Cloud environment and SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS pattern development using AWSStrong experience in developing Cloud formation templates and modulesAbility to design data storage, movement, orchestration solutions on AWSDesign, coordinate and execute proof of concepts, guidance on business scenarios and deployment guidanceExperience working in SCRUM/Agile Development environmentFor US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:$114,375.00 - $190,625.00The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
