Your Role:
We are looking for an innovation-centric Senior Cloud Application Engineer (R&D) to join our IT R&D Team who is passionate about coding, designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based software applications to support R&D business requirements at Genmab.
Your Responsibility:
Execute the design, development, and deployment of robust and scalable cloud-based applications and platforms tailored for R&D functions.
Leverage automated scripting for software deployment, deploy IaC and spin up resources for software stacks.
Build and maintain efficient data pipelines to handle large-scale data acquisition, storage, and processing.
Enable migrations to the cloud, configure cloud infrastructure components, and monitor cloud management and data storage services.
Embed machine learning, artificial intelligence, and GenAI capabilities into cloud applications to enable predictive analytics.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand domain-specific requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of the platform.
Embrace the Agile framework and test-first practices.
Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable data pipelines and ensure seamless application functionality.
Play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining a state-of-the-art cloud-based platform.
Your Qualifications:
Experience in Life Sciences, Biotech or Pharma industry is a must have.
Master’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
5+ years of experience in developing cloud-based applications.
Strong knowledge in Cloud computing and related technologies.
Advanced proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or similar.
Expertise in CI/CD pipeline building.
Experience with agile delivery and DevSecOps processes.
Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure.
Experience with APIs and integrations.
Experience working hands-on across the full stack.
Experience with machine learning and data science tools.
Excellent Communication skills and problem-solving skills.
AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Developer, or similar certifications are nice to have.

Salary:
For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is $114,375.00-$190,625.00. The actual salary offer will consider a wide range of factors.
