IDR is seeking a Director of Tax for a direct hire position with our client. This role will be based in a hybrid environment in Nashville, TN with relocation options available for the right candidate. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tax compliance, audit, research, strategy, and planning for domestic and/or international operations, as well as income tax provision and internal and external reporting. Required Skills for the Director of Tax:
Managing internal preparation of domestic and international tax filings for corporations and partnershipsHandling tax audits, queries, reporting, and deliverablesManaging transfer pricing policies and related documentationSupporting M&A transaction activities, overseeing tax due diligence, developing tax strategy and structural planning options, and coordinating tax process integrationProviding strategic tax advice in relation to new ventures, projects, and contractsMonitoring new lines of business, acquisitions, and products as it relates to tax implications in multiple taxing jurisdictionsQualifications for the Director of Tax:
Bachelor's Degree in AccountingCPA Certification and/or Masters in Taxation5+ years of related income and indirect tax experience in public accounting or large multi-national public company tax department7+ years in tax leadership role developing high-performing talent and directing high-performing teamsExperience with OneSource Income and Provision Tax software (preferred)Experience with Tax Research Software (Bloomberg, CCH, Checkpoint) (preferred)Experience with BNA Fixed Asset Software (preferred)Experience with Oracle ERP Software (preferred)What's in it for you?
