Overview:
Are you ready to help shape the future of travel and hospitality? CoralTree is seeking a Controller/Director of Finance to join our team at
Outbound Mammoth . This role will be based in our Home Office in Englewood, CO. As the Controller, you'll provide daily management of all accounting functions, which includes payroll, income audit, accounts payable, and general ledger. You'll be responsible for reconciling and maintaining the integrity of the general ledger. In addition, you will assist with preparing accurate and timely financial reporting, including cash flow, and routinely providing financial support and analysis to leadership across the resort.Responsibilities:Direct and assume responsibility for the property's accounting practices. Maintain accurate financial records, and preparing timely financial reports using standard reporting and comprehensive metrics to drive continuous improvement.Assist in nurturing relationships with property owners, supervise and coordinate required reporting, provide timely monthly reports, and participate in relevant meetings.Complete the year-end audit process, review and approve all reconciliations and audit work papers, coordinate with external auditors, and approve final audit adjustments.Review historical and projected cash flows, take actions to manage cash flow appropriately, and communicate necessary information to the RVP of Operations, Regional VP of Finance, and others.Supervise and participate in preparing and reviewing monthly and annual financial statements, analyze variances, involve department managers, and ensure well-written narratives explaining variances.Interpret operating results to affect the Resort's financial aspects, making recommendations for cost reductions, profit improvement, and overall benefit.Organize and drive the annual budgeting process, monitor and assist in preparing property, capital, development budgets, and business plans, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.Check appropriation requests against approved budgets before committing funds, ensuring budgeted expenditures do not exceed authorized levels.Coordinate the integration of development financial activity into operating activity, resulting in concise and timely property reporting.Qualifications:
