If this aligns with your values and you want to join a leader in the banking industry, we are hiring for a Quality Control Manager that will manage the quality control review process and the reporting outcome of real estate files originated and purchased by TIB. Ensures accuracy of data submitted.

MAJOR DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manages third party vendor to ensure automated underwriting data is accurate and all required documentation was obtained.
  • Creates and manages all quality control reports going to senior management, underwriting, and compliance.
  • Coordinates and manages investor clearing issues including uploading documents to appropriate systems.
  • Supervises the MERS Coordinator, backs up when needed, and manages any exception requests on the MERS procedure.
  • Completes the required MERS Monthly data audits and maintains reporting on those reviews for submission in the required MERS Annual Report.
  • Coordinates and manages the Annual and Biannual audit required by MERS.
  • Tracks and enters the information for HMDA loan reporting.This includes entering data in the LOS, gathering missing data, completing the export and import of data to the reporting system, scrubbing all data on every file prior to submission in the timeframe allowed by CFPB.
  • Prepares the Notices of Adverse Action for any file that is denied by TIB underwriting staff. Ensures mailing of the document to the borrower and corrects reporting.
  • Reviews and responds to all audit and repurchase requests from FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA & USDA.
  • Complies with all banking laws and regulations, and maintains the confidentiality of bank and customer information.


REQUIREMENTS/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 7-9 years' experience processing, underwriting, and closing residential mortgages (preferably conventional and government loans)
  • Individual must have knowledge of all Federal Regulatory guidelines, including RESPA and Reg Z, pertaining to mortgage lending.
  • Minimum 3 years of document drawing or loan closing experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Software: Microsoft Office (Excel and Word); Desktop Originator Loan Prospector; FICS LP or Equivalent LOS; Desktop Underwriter


Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years' hands-on experience performing automated risk system data entry and output analysis, along with originating and processing experience
  • 3-5 years' experience with Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac underwriting requirements
  • 2-4 years' direct supervisory experience
