Overview:

THE ROLE:As the Senior Director of Business Data and Analytics, you will serve as the main interface between business team members and data analytics functions, driving the strategic alignment of data initiatives with business objectives. Directing a team of analysts and developers, you will lead all aspects of the development and implementation of data-driven solutions to address critical business challenges and opportunities. Your role encompasses translating business requirements into actionable analytics strategies, ensuring that insights generated from data analysis empower informed decision-making across the organization. Collaborating closely with business leaders, you will craft the roadmap for data-driven innovation, driving adoption of analytics tools and promoting a culture of data-driven decision-making. Through effective communication and partnership, you will bridge the gap between technical expertise adiscernmentmen, driving tangible business outcomes through the strategic utilization of data and analytics.HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:Establish and foster positive relationships with senior leadership to understand their strategic objectives and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on matters related to business data and analytics.Collaborate closely with development teams to provide strategic mentorship and technical expertise in data and analytics initiatives.Facilitate smooth integration of data and analytics solutions within the development lifecycle.Work in tandem with the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure alignment of data and analytics projects with interpersonal goals and priorities and Provide vital data insights to improve project planning and execution.Maintain a proactive approach in staying abreast of project progress and addressing any potential roadblocks promptly.Conduct detailed follow-up after each business meeting to ensure all action items and decisions are detailed and driven upon.Use a blend of technical and business language to facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business partners.Lead discovery sessions to collect requirements and translate business needs into actionable data and analytics solutions.Navigate ambiguity with confidence, translating sophisticated situations into clear, actionable next steps for the team.Drive transparency and direction amidst uncertainty, ensuring projects progress towards defined objectives.Champion the adoption of a data-driven culture across the organization, promoting the use of data and analytics to advise decision-making at all levels.Advocate for the importance of data literacy and education among employees.Take ownership of end-to-end project delivery, from inception to implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the expected quality standards.Maintain ongoing communication channels to keep team members advised of project progress, achievements, and any deviations from the plan.Develop and implement a self-service strategy for data and analytics, empowering business users to access and analyze data independently.Provide guidance and support in the implementation of self-service tools and platforms.Be responsible for the ramp-up of new initiatives within the multi-level marketing (MLM) business, demonstrating data and analytics to drive growth and efficiency.Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure successful integration of new initiatives into existing processes.Responsible for optimally leveraging the strengths of team members while maintaining a hands-on approach when vital.Lead by example, willing to get

Qualifications:SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:Inspire and guide teams towards common goals, make sound decisions, and be responsible for multiple projects optimally.Proficient in interpreting data, solving complex problems, and identifying trends to inform strategic decisions.Clear and concise communication, adapting to diverse audiences and actively listening to team members' needs.Develop long-term analytics strategies aligned with organizational goals, prioritizing initiatives for maximum impact.Mastery of data analytics tools and technologies, understanding data management principles, and familiarity with advanced analytics techniques.Deep understanding of business processes and industry dynamics, translating business requirements into actionable analytics solutions, and assessing project return on investment.Experience:10+ years of multifaceted experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Demonstrated success in developing and implementing data-driven strategies to support business objectives and drive growth.Proven track record of leading multi-functional teams and delivering complex analytics projects on time and within budget.Experience in building and maintaining solid relationships with business team members and executive leadership.Education:Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
