Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for a Regional Sales Director - Southeast Region located remotely, but target the Southeast US market.

Job Summary:

As the Regional Sales Director - Southeast Region you will develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and market share of the commercial waterproofing and coatings. This is a remote, home based position. Desired locations within Central US region.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.Implements national sales programsManage the direct sales efforts of the regional sales management team and ensure territory development plans are on target and being achieved.Maintains regional sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orientating and training employees.Maintains regional sales staff job results by coaching employees; managing employee performance; planning, monitoring and appraising job results.Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationshipsPartner with customers to understand their business needs and objectivesEffectively communicate through proposals and presentationsInterface with other company departments to achieve sales objectives. This includes field problem solving and negotiating to satisfy company and customer objectives, which may conflict. Consistently report market information and deliver feedback to departments. This will include such things as market conditions, competitive pricing and programs.Provide management with written correspondence and monthly reports to cover all aspects of the region that impact sales.Maintain pricing strategy consistent with corporate objectives.Review and manage all expenses throughout the regionsRequired Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:

Management principles including leadership, motivation, supervision and career development.Sales techniques - knows variety of techniques to develop customers, to address customer concerns, to persuade customers and to close a sale.Demonstrated ability to drive sales from plan to closeAbility to lead, manage and coach sales team that will archive significant and rapid sales and share gainDemonstrated ability to manage $10M+ in sales revenueDemonstrated ability to coach, utilize and mange business through SalesForce.comProduct positioning skillsProficient in Action SellingCommunication skills both verbal and writtenWorking knowledge of the construction industry and the process of competitive bidding. Relationships between the owner, architect, construction manager, general contractor and sub-contractors must be understood.Computer Skills – Basic Word, Excel and Power PointSales skills - adapt to various sales situations and negotiate a satisfactory result for the companyWorking Conditions:

Monday – Friday, weekends evenings required for trade shows, customer events and meetingsOffice environmentWork from HomeTravel Requirement

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree, MBA or Master’s preferredMinimum 5 years of leadership experience within the coatings and waterproofing industry3 years of experience in air barriers and commercial waterproofing or installation5 years effectively leading teams
