Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for a Regional Sales Director - Southeast Region located remotely, but target the Southeast US market.Job Summary:As the Regional Sales Director - Southeast Region you will develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and market share of the commercial waterproofing and coatings. This is a remote, home-based position. Desired locations within Central US region.Duties and Responsibilities:Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.Implement national sales programs.Manage the direct sales efforts of the regional sales management team and ensure territory development plans are on target and being achieved.Maintain regional sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orientating and training employees.Maintain regional sales staff job results by coaching employees; managing employee performance; planning, monitoring and appraising job results.Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.Effectively communicate through proposals and presentations.Interface with other company departments to achieve sales objectives, including field problem solving and negotiating to satisfy company and customer objectives. Consistently report market information and deliver feedback to departments, including market conditions, competitive pricing, and programs.Provide management with written correspondence and monthly reports to cover all aspects of the region that impact sales.Maintain pricing strategy consistent with corporate objectives.Review and manage all expenses throughout the regions.Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:Management principles including leadership, motivation, supervision, and career development.Sales techniques - knows a variety of techniques to develop customers, address customer concerns, persuade customers, and close a sale.Demonstrated ability to drive sales from plan to close.Ability to lead, manage, and coach a sales team that will achieve significant and rapid sales and share gain.Demonstrated ability to manage $10M+ in sales revenue.Demonstrated ability to coach, utilize, and manage business through SalesForce.com.Product positioning skills.Proficient in Action Selling.Communication skills both verbal and written.Working knowledge of the construction industry and the process of competitive bidding, understanding relationships between the owner, architect, construction manager, general contractor, and sub-contractors.Computer Skills – Basic Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Sales skills - adapt to various sales situations and negotiate a satisfactory result for the company.Working Conditions:Monday – Friday, weekends and evenings required for trade shows, customer events, and meetings.Office environment.Work from Home.Travel Requirement:Up to 60% overnight.Requirements:Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree, MBA or Master’s preferred.Minimum 5 years of leadership experience within the coatings and waterproofing industry.3 years of experience in air barriers and commercial waterproofing or installation.5 years effectively leading teams.
