Systematix is currently looking for a
Senior Infrastructure Engineer
to help manage and elevate a diverse global infrastructure for one of the world’s leaders in Life Sciences technologies.ABOUT THE PROJECTOur client is one of the world’s leading Life Sciences companies, with offices around the globe. Working as the Senior Infrastructure Engineer for the global infrastructure group, you will be responsible for the implementation of a growing number of services for this global enterprise. As a key member of the team, you will be involved in implementing standards and providing innovative solutions that support the success of our client’s collaborative science and technology driven businesses.ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIESOwning the infrastructure build & deploy lifecycle; drastically reducing build, deploy & rollback times while simultaneously reducing risk and exposure.Working with key people in our global IT departments to provide secure, reliable Shared Services that you help design, test, implement and support.Assessing solution options pertaining to infrastructure, telecommunications, networking and cyber security.ABOUT THE QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other technical field.8+ years as a Systems Engineer with strong experience with data centers and infrastructure.Significant expertise in the following technologies: (Azure) Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VMWare, SCCM/Intune, Azure Application integrations, Monitoring solutions, scripting with PowerShell and Microsoft Windows Server technologies.Experience in successfully delivering large scale services with Azure.Experience with Network administration and configuration.Proven track record of successfully participating in technical implementations of new services as part of a project team.Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities.ITIL principles knowledge.Azure certification is a strong asset.ABOUT THE ROLEThis is a 3-6 month contract to hire role, to be performed at our client’s site in the Los Angeles area.APPLY NOWIf you are interested in finding out more please contact us or submit your resume to jobs@systematix.com.
