Security Analyst I

In this role, you will implement security solutions to minimize IT risks, monitor and respond to security threats, and maintain detailed documentation of security processes. If you're proactive and passionate about IT security, we invite you to apply and help us protect our digital assets.What You’ll Do:Monitor security events and logs to identify potential threats and investigate issuesRespond to active security alerts and reports to ensure that all threats are identified and mitigated quickly, effectively, and with minimal business impactConduct initial investigation and analysis of incidents to determine their nature and scope, and escalate incidents as necessaryCollaborate with other teams to resolve security incidents and implement corrective actionsDocument security events and response for further escalation and reviewWho You Are:Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, or related fieldOne plus (1+) years of experience working with security solutions and technologiesOne plus (1+) years of experience working in information/endpoint/network security roleWillingness to work on call rotations as part of a 24/7/365 team.Basic knowledge of security incident response processesWorking knowledge of Information Security technologies (EDR, NDR, IPS, WAF, SIEM, etc.)Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP), security methodologies (ACL/NAC), and topologiesWorking knowledge of Windows and Linux OSStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively with other team membersExcellent attention to detail and thorough follow through to completionHelpful to Have:Solid understanding of Information Security methodologyWorking knowledge of analyzing, responding, and remediating network intrusions, web app, and server attacksWorking knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)Knowledge of containerization concepts and tools (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)Knowledge of root cause determinationUnderstanding of impacts to environment and clientsThis position is not eligible for sponsorship.Annual compensation range $72,800 - $81,900All submissions for open positions should be received through Yardi’s applicant portal, accessed from Yardi’s corporate website.
