This client is one of the largest blockchain development companies in the world building out household name applications across finance, DeFi, NFT’s and general Blockchain SaaS solutions. Most of their employees operate fully remotely and we are looking for staff across a number of disciplines with this top tier client.
Responsibilities
Develop, release, and maintain various QA, UAT and production environmentsRecommend ways to improve existing functionalityWork closely with other core members on the teamDeliver architecture in cloud computing platformsDeploy product updates as required while implementing integrations when they ariseWork with open-source technologies as neededWork with CI/CD tools, and source control to include GIT and GitLabManage code deployments, fixes, updates, and related processes
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science highly preferredAt least 5+ years of DevOps engineering experience within the blockchain spaceSignificant experience writing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, terragrunt, and/or AnsibleContributed to the establishment of DevOps Engineer team best practicesSkills in building and maintaining tools, solutions and microservices associated with deployment and operations platform, ensuring that all meet customer service standards and with reduction of errorsStrong Kubernetes experience with Docker or RKT containerisationExperience with open-source technologies and cloud servicesExperience working with Ansible, Puppet or Chef for automation and configuration managementExceptional communication skills and ability to explain protocol and processes with team and managementStellar troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problemsCurrent knowledge of industry trends, IT ops and industry best practices, and able to identify the ones we should implementExperience working in an agile development environmentExperience with project management and workflow tools such as Agile, Jira, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, etc.Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration, and GCPStrong experience with databases such as SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Elasticsearch, Redis, Cassandra, and/or MongoKnowledge of scripting languages such as NodeJS, JavaScript, Perl, Ruby, Python, Groovy, BashThe ability to take ownership and see initiatives throughExperience working with distributed softwareFamiliarity with infrastructure management concepts
