DevOps EngineerGreenwich, CT – open to remote or hybrid workingSummary:We are a fully funded, pre-product, innovative, early stage Fintech company building a cryptocurrency exchange tailored to institutional investors and professional traders.We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who is passionate about leveraging new technologies and enjoys automating repetitive tasks. As a DevOps Engineer you will be a core member of the IT team and will report to the Director of Infrastructure. You should possess a deep experience in writing IaC solutions, building pipelines, deploying, and managing production environments.What you'll do:
Develop, release, and maintain various QA, UAT and production environmentsRecommend ways to improve existing functionalityWork closely with other core members on the teamDeliver architecture in cloud computing platformsDeploy product updates as required while implementing integrations when they ariseWork with open-source technologies as neededWork with CI/CD tools, and source control to include GIT and GitLabManage code deployments, fixes, updates, and related processesSkills We're Seeking:
5+ years of cloud-based DevOps engineering experienceSignificant experience writing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, terragrunt, and/or AnsibleStrong Kubernetes experience with Docker or RKT containerizationExperience with open-source technologies and cloud servicesStrong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administrationNice to Have's:
GCP experienceCryptocurrency and/or Blockchain knowledgeExperience scripting languages such as NodeJS, JavaScript, Perl, Ruby, Python, Groovy, BashExperience with databases such as SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Elasticsearch, Redis, Cassandra, and/or MongoExperience in software developmentFinTech industry exposureEducation:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
