Together, we are creating an environment where everyone is celebrated and anyone can succeed.OverviewCarbon Direct is looking for a Marketing Content Specialist with excellent short-form copywriting and storytelling skills, and experience producing short-form multimedia content that engages and excites prospective customers and partners.In this role, the successful candidate will own our monthly email newsletter and demand-generation content, maintain our organic presence across social media channels, generate compelling ad copy for a variety of channels, and support blog and website content to help inform and engage our audiences.The position will partner closely with marketing, sales, and our team of world-class climate scientists to support marketing campaigns and events. Experience in science, sustainability, or technical subjects is a plus, but passion for solving climate problems is essential.ResponsibilitiesElevate and drive awareness of Carbon Direct and its products and solutions through compelling content across multiple owned and third-party channels.Curate and write monthly email newsletters.Support demand-gen by creating email nurture streams for our different audience segments.Work closely with our social media agency to maintain a cadence of organic social posts that support ongoing campaigns.Produce short-form video content using platforms like Livestorm and Loom to support email marketing, website, and social media channels (design experience is not required).Collaborate with marketing and sales team to craft cohesive campaign messaging across a range of platforms including landing pages, email, social media, and digital advertising.Work with content strategist to develop timely, relevant blog and web content.Partner with brand designers to translate copy and concepts into compelling designed deliverables across a range of marketing platforms.Support other marketing needs by writing or editing landing pages and sales enablement content, ensuring accuracy and consistent brand voice.QualificationsExcellent short-form copywriting and storytelling skills, including email marketing and social media best practices.Experience creating content for a variety of channels and audience segments.Basic video production and editing skills, and experience working with live recording platforms preferred.Familiarity with Chicago manual of style as well as adhering to brand voice and tone guidelines.Basic knowledge of SEO best practices preferred.Experience writing for climate and sustainability organizations or science-based subject matter preferred.A keen sense of technical accuracy.Salary$93,600 - $130,900BenefitsWhile we love our work, our lives aren’t defined by it.
