Quality Assurance Supervisor

DescriptionWhile all location employees have seed quality as a major component of their jobs, the QA Supervisor is the common link that helps to ensure that our customers are pleased with the quality of the seed we produce. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Processes bulk seed samples to determine predicted seed sizing and conversionVisually inspects all finished seed lots to ensure acceptable seed appearanceProcesses and submits samples for quality lab analysisWorks with warehouse employees to probe carryover seed according to customer requestsMonitors finished crop quality results and initiates actions with location managers when problems are notedInitiates and releases “SEED ON HOLD” within location warehouses and inventory systemsMaintains a neat, clean, and organized work areaIn this role, you will work directly with our Office Administrators and personnel within the location.Additional responsibilities include:Ensuring a safe work environment around the officeMaintaining accurate customer and company inventory systemsAccurately invoicing customers for seed and services providedProviding customers with accurate information regarding seed shipmentsMaintaining complete location production and processing recordsAccurately recording seed grower pricing requestsInitiating grower paymentsAccurately processing vendor invoices for paymentRequirementsAgricultural background is helpful but not requiredStrong computer and data entry competencyExcellent communication skills with a positive attitudeAttentive to detail and accuracyCooperative and willing to assist othersWell organizedBenefitsCompany bonus programPersonal time offCompany holidaysHealth, dental, and vision insuranceMedical and dependent care flexible spending accountsShort and long-term disabilityCompany paid life insurance401(k) with company matchRemington Seeds is an equal opportunity employer.
